Kim grew up as the youngest of seven in a spirited New York household where dinner conversations could venture
into almost any topic. Her siblings—most with their own brand of sensitivity—dabbled in meditation, reincarnation, and various Eastern philosophies, unintentionally broadening Kim’s world far beyond the boundaries of her strict Catholic upbringing.

After living in Manhattan through her 20’s, Kim moved to Los Angeles during her 23 year TV career for an executive role in a production company. I read Confessions of a Closeted Clairvoyant: Being an Intuitive in a Skeptical World as someone who has worked in this field myself for many decades—as a psychic detective working with law enforcement for more than four decades, as well as an animal communicator, medium, and intuitive. I absolutely loved this book.
What struck me most about the author is her extraordinary curiosity and resilience, particularly through some of the more difficult moments of her life. Even when she receives amazingly accurate intuitive information—and she experiences this knowing in various ways—she continues to question what she receives.
Yet her questioning never struck me as disbelief. Instead, there is a wonderful sense of curiosity and even awe: How does this happen? What does it mean? What role does it have in my life and in the lives of my family?
That sense of wonder makes her journey especially compelling.
Throughout the book, she takes us into her relationships with the many people she encounters, and what continually shines through is her ability to connect with others openly and lovingly. There is a quality of serendipity to the way her life unfolds.
